The Malaysian born designer, Villiam Ooi joined the MODA in 1994 where his career and reputation began to blossom since.
Prior to launching his own designer labels,Villiam worked as display artist at department stores, in-house designer, fashion buyer lecturer.Through this course, he has accumulated hands-on experience in different aspects of fashion industry and refined his sense of beauty and creativity , which is evident in the various labels he started.

Vision Statement

TO EXPAND ITS MARKET TO OVERSEAM AND TO INTRODUCE NEW PRODUCTS AND INTERIOR DECORATING PRODUCTS

The name was formed base on the designer's name which Villam intends to have his name to be an established brand in the near future.VO mainly targets in catering for upper market crowd, who are interested in tailor made garment, evening wear.

These include of tourists from Middle Eastern countries, local celebrities and royal family.Meanwhile, the label is also distributed to small fashion boutiques in Shanghai and Singapore. The label has been selected by some main sponsors in Malaysia to participate in various fashion shows between 2003 and 2004.


My closet was name after the designer's vision that once would imagine "A cupboard that offers everything". My closet has its own fashion boutique in Sungei Plaza in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

My closet offers more affordable, fashionable items for younger, funky generation who enjoy mix & match garment. It offers plentiful of hand made products, where you do not find them in mass production fashion boutiques. My Closet has successfully created innovative wear to its younger crows in Malaysia.
Personal Achievement
1. Villiam was the Top Ten Young Designer in 1994 MODA SHOW.
2. Participated in Japan year 1998, The Asian Grand Prix Contest. Judged by Yoji Yamamoto as THE BEST MAN'S WEAR AWARD.
3. Top Ten Wedding Gown in year 2000, by Her World Magazine.
4. In 2003, was awardes THE PROMISING DESIGNER by Moet Chandon.
5. Awarded " KL 6 " by MIFA
6. Represented Malaysia in Australian Fashion Week in 2004.
7. MERCEDES-BENZ ASIA FASHION AWARD 2005
